**All 6U eligible players are only required to play one year of t-ball before they can move up to 8U. Therefore, it is possible that a player who is 5yrs old on Dec 31, 2011, and in Kindergarten, could play at the 8U level if she played the previous year as a 4-½ year old.

Our first annual family fun night was a huge success.  Several families stopped by for FREE food and entertainment.  Kids enjoyed crazy bat races, bouncing on the blow-ups, dancing to the DJ and dunking their league presidents. 

THANK YOU for your continued support!  We hope you enjoy the rest of the summer and look forward to seeing everyone again next spring!

Hello,

In appreciation for a great year of GAGSA softball, both league and in tournament play, we have put together a fun night for all 450+ players and families, scheduled for Wed Aug 3 from 6pm to 9pm at the softball complex.

We are planning to have the grill going for dinner, 4 inflatable's......iron man obstacle course, giant slide, moon bounce, carmen the caterpillar which is a walkthrough inflatable little kids really like. We will also have a DJ and karaoke going on. Finally, we are trying to get a dunk tank so that all of you may try to dunk your Association President.

Best of all, everything is FREE!

Please come out and join us Wed evening. Disclaimer………we are not sure on how much food to have on hand, therefore, come early to the grill. When we are out, we are out.

Thanks again for all your support. You are the ones that make this organization one of the tops in the state, and we want to show our appreciation to all you. As many of you know, I am stepping down after 8 years. I am very appreciative and thankful that you all have allowed me to be a part of this great organization.

ATTN: 12U Players and Families,

We will be holding a couple of more 12U tournament tryout preparation practices this week. We will hold practices on Tuesday Aug. 2 and Thursday Aug. 4 @ 6:00-8:00pm on field 2 at the complex. If you are interested in trying out for 12U tournament teams this is a great opportunity to get a little practice in before tryouts on Aug. 6 & 7. We will focus on hitting, fielding, bunting, base running, sliding, pitching, catching, etc. Please be dressed ready for practice, and be dressed to do sliding. I hope to see everyone out there that's interested this week. Thank you for everyone's continued support of our wonderful softball program.

ATTN: 10U Players and Families, 

All players planning to tryout for Rams 10U tournament softball on Aug 6 & 7 are invited to open practices.  Practices will be held at Sam Wise softball field #3 on Monday, August 1 and Thursday, August 4 from 6 to 8 PM.  Practices will include fielding, batting bunting, base running, pitching and catching.  Parents are encouraged to help out so we can divide the girls into groups for drills.
